I need a tonneau cover for my fx4

its a 04 F150 FX4 supercab, with a bed liner. I need something cheap and easy to take on and off because i race motocross and need to use the bed for my bike. Every tonneau cover i see doesnt thats cheap doesnt allow it to bed used with a bed liner, so i was just wondering which ones you guys reccomend.

I have a truxedo lo-pro cover on mine, fits with the factory bedliner. It's a roll-up style with the full length vecro strips down the sides. One hand operation. Has lasted thru three Cleveland winters and is still tight as new. Paid about 4 bills for it,but i believe they are cheaper now.

I would also suggest the Truxedo low-pro. I ride 4-wheeler alot so i know exatly where you are coming from when you say that you need something easy to take on and off. Here are a couple of pictures of mine, rolled up against the cab and also in place.

I second the Truxedo Lo-Pro. I can't really comment on milage because it was the first mod I bought, shortly after the purchase of the truck so I have nothing i can compare my current milage to.

No bowing like most rollups:

And thin as can be:

I just bought a bakflip and I love it.

Search for bakflip, retrax, peragon, undercover, rollback and pace edwards. You'll be able to contrast and compare them. The hard covers are around $700 give or take.

The bakflip's only downfall that I see is that its heavy and costly. It can be completely removed from the truck in a matter of minutes. You could take it off and lay it next to a bike and roll on.

There is no perfect cover for everyone, so check to see what fits your needs. The soft units are cheaper, but dont have any real security to them.

I haven't noticed any difference. I bought mine mainly to keep the leaves, rain, snow, etc. out of the bed and have easy access/removal when I needed to use the full bed.

I've done about 6 months of research and that is the cover I'm going for also. It folds in 3 sections...can support about 400-600# ontop of it...is lockable in all positions...can be completely removed...it sits flush with the bed rails, not ontop like a tonneau cover...it's under $1k...the particular model I'm getting is about $700

You need an Undercover... supports 350 pounds, weighs only 58 pounds... hangs on the wall when you're not using it....

The brackets to mount it do not get in the way when the cover is off... it is exactly what you need.

Its waterproof, etc...

Cost about $500 new... but...

I have one for sale because I just traded in my truck...

Pics are in my gallery.

I agree The Undercover is a great cover. You can stand on it to clean the roof off your truck also. Cleans up with soap and water.
