Help me choose a Head Unit

Ok guys here is the deal I have a Kenwood Double Din DDX7017 with the 4100DVD Nav under the seat.

I love the unit but it is going on 5 years old and I was looking to upgrade

I want to stay with a DD unit and I would prefer not having to put the nav DVD in when ever I want to use it which is why I liked the 4100. I see after reading here allot that the 2 most popular brands are Pionner and Kenwood.

I want the Bluetooth and Ipod and Sirius addons which I have now so what deck would you guys recommend ? Some people have told me to stay with what I have as it is better than the newer versions ?? True ?

I looked at the I looked at the Avic D3 but you cant have the Nav DVD and something else in at the same time as there is only one slot so thats out.

I looked at the Pioneer AVIC-Z2X Package and it looks nice any good ?

What other toys Urr I mean models would you buy and why ?

Thanks

Get the Avic-Z2 it is great my only complaint is that the ipod adapter is a littler slower than new ones. The bluetooth is great and the hard drive is awesome!!!

alpine w205 $699
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+IVA-W205.html

with the black bird $579
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ckbird+II.html

the black bird is a hand held nav unit that goes inside of the w205(like a cd but not)

the price of the w205 pisses me off cuz 2 weeks ago when they were on back order i requested an email when they were back in stock and well back then it was 649, but that is probably the cheapest you will find it from a reputable dealer

Do you travel a lot? Do you get lost often? Is your nav not doing what it's supposed to do? If it is, keep what you have. I am still trying to figure out why so many people have nav units. I drive a lot and I can't remember the last time I got lost. I am just curious, since I have ridden in cars with nav units and they even seem to cause problems sometimes. We took a trip to pigeon Forge last year. Everyone made it to the cabin except my wife's asshat cousin from Texas with his GPS. It sent him to the wrong place.

I actually do travel ALLOT and not always in places I am familiar with. THe GPS is nice but I dont always use it. I just felt it was time for an upgrade but only if the equipment today is that much nice than I have now. I main use is the DVD I guess, the only fault I have with the 7017 I have now is the screen is a little dark even with the settings adjusted.
