Carriage Works Grille noise??

Has anyone with this grille had a problem with a whistling noise while driving down the highway...? I like the looks of it, but it whistles. My other truck had the same grille and it did also. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed the same thing...Its pretty faint, but it is kinda annoying.

I had the same problem, and it is annoying...Mine has subsided over time, and now is no existant. I must have realigned, retightened everything a million times, and while this helped it only went away with time...

Is there a kit to mount the lights behind the grille? Or do you have to prefab one?

lol...your not the only one. That dam whistle drove me insane for the longest, especially driving into the wind! The light brackets I fabbed up myself, not hard at all, a very easy mod just time consuming! I didnt keep any measurements though, just kind of worked it and reworked it till I was happy with it.

I noticed this when I put mine on, when driving to work in the morning when it's quiet & no cars on the road. It whistled around 45 MPH. It has gone away now, had it for almost a year!........

Never noticed a whistle with mine. Of course even if I did have one I probably wouldn't hear it over my exhaust, intake, and tires.

Never heard a whistle from mine either. Had it well over a year now too.
