3" creates crazy cv axle angles. Do a search about it.
Just go with the 2 or 2.5" leveling kit and a 3" body lift instead of 2"

had an LED flasher issue today after the install but fixed it up with a ep27 flasher

so i guess a 2.5 it is, that will be bought with me tax return along with my hid fogs

depends what you're in. Out here in the valley we get that clay/gumbo mud, my truck loves to just sink straight down/slide off levees. Got stuck once badly and almost stuck like 3 other times. With a lift and mud tires however, it'll be a different story next duck season.

You're gonna love your new FX4! It's built like a tank (like all F-150's), and the FX4 looks awesome. Even in stock condition, I've taken mine through rocks, mud and gunk you'd never thought possible. You'll definitely be able to go places Titans and Tundras never dare tread... and look good doing it!

My "loaded" 2005 FX4 SCrew was a great truck. It did have a lot of rattles and squeeks in the cab though. When I saw a 2007 FX4 "luxury" package with monotone trim package, I just had to upgrade. No mechanical issues so far... just a broken volume **** on the radio.

 

ya true the supercab has its squeeks and groans such as the suicide doors because the not so there b pillars and also ive noticed the seat are kinda bouncy when no one is sitting in them but other then that it seems like a tank and i love it .... even tho its a 12 mpg hog ... it gets better gas milage then my 98 z28 did and i love the brawniness and sharp looks of it

i checked the ball joints and my passenger side has a lil play in it but ford will not award cuz theres not enough becasue my co worker has a 04 black Screw Fx4 and they did that to him too .... @$$holes

but i gotta snap some pics soon and hopefully black the tails and thrid out and then the front windows
