I am in need of a cheap option too mine broke when taking it off the old grille and transferring it to the new. I used plastic epoxy too! I think I'm going to have to mess with the epoxy some more

Mine seems to have separated from the backing and has a bunch of water/air underneath and looks terrible. Its on the list for the dealer to fix.

Firefighter- The dealer will replace it under warranty if you are still under it. I already had all my other emblems replaced.

The alternative to replacements is custom!! Ever think of getting something like that? here is a pic of mine...I got the fender badges replaced, and had another one made for the right side of the tailgate.

Im trying to figure out what to do for the front...I currently have no emblem, but am going to have billet badges make me something.

First Post!!

I also have water behind the clearcoat on my front emblem. When I asked the dealer if it was under warrantee he told me only if it was a "Ford" rock that hit it. I was wondering if I could just peel the clearcoat and blue paint off and leave the raised "Ford" insignia so everything was chrome. Is it possible?

BTW this may be my first post but I've been a part of this site for quite some time. Awsome, awsome site!!!!!

Tell me about it! The kicker is that the guy who told me this in charge of parts and labor is a good friend of mine. I've been friends with him for 24 years so I don't think it's him I think it's the Tasca dealership.

I guess I can put a positive spin on it and use it as an excuse to get a billet grill.

Why dont you run another F150 off the road when he tries to pass you, then take his emblem...you know, teach him his lesson, right?

Well I floored it and flicked him off so he had to cut back in behind me I love messing with drivers like that they are complete jerks and need to learn their lesson IMO.
