body lift question
body lift question
ok dont beat me up guys, i searched but did not find enough good info. i am looking to possibly put a 3 in body lift, and I am looking for pics and any info on how hard it is to do. I am very mechanically inclined and have done one on a ranger.
Ill be doing mine on friday so ill let you know how it goes.Honestly it really doesnt look that bad to do.If your mechanically inclined you should be ok.There really isnt anything i cant do or wont tackle so ill be ok.Ill post some pics when im done on saturday.Cheapest place i found was sportztrailers.
msall thanks for responding.i have had my truck for 2 years and while money will be the deciding factor i just have not been able to justify the susp. lift. I dont hardcore offroad just some lighthills and mud around here my hunting property is all fields with access tracks and this year we want to start beaching here in md. so in my reality I just dont need the susp.lift and can put that money to other toys.
pat thanks for the reply cant wait to hear how it goes.

I hear everyone strips the bed bolts. They are supposed to be pretty damn hard to do. I've heard people have had to cut off the bolt head into a six sided head and get it off that way. They are torx heads.

youd have to modify the bumper brackets too cause the bumper brackets will lift the bumpers 3"
