For all of you guys that have been trading in your trucks lately, how much have you been getting from the dealers?

I paid 33K for my 07 KR, stickered for 44K. I felt like I got a good deal. Doubt I could get 29K for it. Gas prices, and the rebates are really hurting our trucks value. Keep it. Enjoy it, and grin and bear filling it up. My next truck, in 2015...will be an XLT. I really dont need all the uppity features. Wish I had realized how I felt, before I bought it.

Traded in my 04 Heritage with 36K on the clock and they nearly paid it off, so I would have a fresh loan on my 07. Pay off was 11,800 and they paid 11,000.

Thinking of trading in? Might as well just bend over and spread 'em.

Trading does usually kill you financially. I am so upside down right now it is funny. I HAVE to drive this truck for 5 or more years to get out of it.

At 25K you should jump on that. You'd have a hard time getting that on the private market.

i dont know exactly what features you have and whatnot, but with the redicious rebates and whatnot in my area dealers are just giving away 08s with similar setups for the same price... if you could get that for your truck thats a great deal.....

Bought my 05 in June 05. A little over 2 more years of payments and it's all mine. But I see why you're weighing your options.
