Lightbulb help!!!!!! im stranded and I need help with my edge

My edge is throwing these weird throttle codes and has screwed up my truck. Won't even let me start. Turns over and dies. Even on the stock tune with the egde unplugged. It won't clear the dtc codes im getting no matter what I do. I now have my battery unplugged completely hoping that that will clear my comp. How long do I have to wait for this or any other ideas on how to fix the problem. Im on my pda so I need a response asap!!!!! And im in the middle of a wheelin spot that only a lift truck and a driver with my tree weaving skill, could get back too. So no just call a tow truck suggestions.

I had it unplugged for about 10 minutes and that didn't work. Im gonna wait till 830 and try again and if that doesn't work then ill take my edge and leave. Go home and update and see if that helps. If that doesn't do it then I don't know what im gonna do.

I've had something similar happen. Call edge and have the truck, pod, phone, and internet handy. They have a few things that they can try.

However none of them worked for me. I ended up having to tow it to the dealer and them reflash the computer.

Was also user error on my part. Not edges fault.

I don't have the edge, But try going back to stock tune. Crank it over at wot, give it a few seconds and then try and start normal with a little throttle. It may not have anything to do with the edge at all. Just for the hell of it. Worked for me one time a couple years ago, glitch in the computer I'm guessing.
Edit- Hasn't happened since.

Definitely was not the edge that caused your problem. I hate it when people jump to conclusions like that about the edge.

Hope you get things worked out.
