Tow mirrors worth?

I have new 08 factory f150 tow mirrors. Full power, lights, defrosters etc. They were sent to me in the mail. I got them and the passengers side is perfect. The drivers side is cracked on the black plastic triangle that meets up with the door. It looks fixable but I just want to sell them. What do you think they are worth??

Seeing as new ones just dropped in price - to $125ish a piece - I'd say something under $200 would be a starting point.

You said they're "new", so I'm assuming you bought them from a dealer..??.. They usually ship them insured. Have you tried to file a claim with the carrier?

Yes they are new. Im fact they are dated 1/8/08. They came ups and were not insured, I dont know why. I could probably get ups to give me something for the one, but I dont really care for them anyway, and just want them out of my garage.

Bummer to have to take a loss on something that you didn't even get to enjoy. Anyway, yeah, I think $150-ish is realistic. But it would probably only make sense for someone local that can pick them up, instead of paying $75+ for shipping.

I would probably work something decent out with shipping for someone. Depending on where there located.

You should still be able to file a claim with the carrier and tell them your shipment contained concealed damage. UPS has minimum coverage up to $100 if the shipper didn't declare a higher value on your shipment.

Go to the UPS web site and click on Support, then Customer Service, then Claims. There is good information there will get you started in the right direction. The Claims FAQ section is good also. Good luck, hope you get a favorable resolution.
