Question Air leaking into cab on passenger side?

It seems like there is cold air leaking in somewhere between the dash and the floor on the passenger side of my truck. I'd never noticed before, but now with my girlfriend riding over there she notices. If I just have the heat blowing through the dash vents or on the defrost setting you can definitely notice the cold air coming up from under the glovebox. This is at highway speeds, in freezing temperatures.

Its not like its blowing hard through the cab, just a steady light breeze of cold air.

Once you turn the heater on the floor setting, it seems to counter the cold air. Its hard to tell if it "fixes" the problem or if the heat is just hiding the issue.

Its a 2004 F150 FX4 SCAB. I haven't modified anything in that area (no wires running through, etc)

Anyone else noticed this? Anyone know of a fix?

Thanks

The only thing that I know of that could let cold outside air in, in that area is a rubber grommet. Have you had an amp installed in your truck? If so maybe they unplugged the grommet to run the power wire because its easier than trying to get the wire through it. Other than that tell her to wear thicker socks.
