body lift question

My 05 has the manual 4x4 engager. Im thinking of a body lift instead of a 6'' just due to funds and my setup later on. How do you extend the manual stick or if anyone has a write-up that would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know how your setup looks but I had the same problem with a Jeep I used to own. I just had an extension welded on.
