Its a arguement that happens all the time.
Some people say no break in... others say there is. then there is a different procedure for break in depending on who you talk to.
IMHO, take it easy the first 500 miles. No towing, no off-roading, no excessive speeds, no burn outs, no chirping tires, don't gun it at the red's, etc. Then change your fluid, and you should be good to go.

Aftermarket gears- Yes
Stock gears- No, but you should be taking it easy on that brand new truck now shouldn't you? Stock gear and tire setups dont create the same amount of torque load and stress on the drivetrain as on aftermarket gear/tire setups.

the body lift wasnt that hard... you need some type of mechanics experience and the right tools makes it real simple.
my truck isnt new lol it has 50000 miles on it and i have had big tires since 1000 miles.
