the difference between the ranch hand and big country is that the ranch hand is all steel welded and will take a hit. The big country is just like a westin or similar that is thin and bolted together. If you want it to actually ****ion then go with the ranch hand.

Vote for Ranch Hand

my vote is for Ranch Hand, I've seen what they can take and it is the only one I would consider.

the frontier-gear is made by a guy that left ranch hand to work on his own ideas that ranch hand wouldn't let him implement/try.

go to a dealer, they'll show you where the frontier is just a little better built than the ranch hand...and a few bucks less in price.

Best looking guard I *EVER* saw was a Frontier guard that had the mesh cut out on a King Ranch. The entire guard had been Line-X'd Arizona Beige. It was *awesome*.

The Frontier Guards are made by a company founded by former Ranch Hand guys. As I recall, those suckers are one of the more expensive options.

Given that you're in Texas, I would say get the Ranch Hand, because you can resell it on Craigslist in one weekend's time if you get tired of it.

Yeah, I think after further research, the Frontier is what I will probably get...too bad the pictures aren't still linked in that thread!
