A Couple Inches From Destruction :(
So ok i went to my ranch over the weekend to work cows and hunt hogs, well sunday morning i left around 6:00 Am and it was foggy as heck so of course i slowed down a little.......hehe but i couldnt be late for work and its a 3 hour drive so i didnt slow down much. Well about 1 hour in a Buck came out of no where and i barely missed him.....so i think next install should be a brush gaurd i dont want to risk hitting a deer again, cuz i drive down there alot and i need some protection. Any ideas? Brands? Cost? Pics? PLease thanks ahead

There have been a lot of threads in the last week on brush guards. Poke around the appearance forum and you'll probably find them. If not, then do a simple search and you will find a ton of info.

I agree that a brushguard may not save you or your truck from serious damage, but from personal experience I can tell you that more than likely it will save you most of the time. Apparently people are attraceted to red dodges. I've owned two dodges and had several people pull out in front of me and I have driven away all but once. That one time was a collision with a semi. Truck was still running, but the radiator was busted. The poor deer that jumped in front of me while I was doing 65 only took out my headlight. As soon as I can afford a brushguard I will have one on my truck.
Hopefully a new truck and a new color will prevent old men, women, and deer from crossing my path.
