Is autobarn.com a good/safe place to buy from?

I'm in the market for some KC Slimlites and wanted to know if anyone has done any business with autobarn.com?

I'll be buying these...

no experience...but

1. why is their URL referencing www.shopzilla.com?
2. go to eBay...you can get those same lights brand new for the same price at a minimum...I'm willing to bet eBay will save you $20 or so

I think the URL shows that because I went with them to search the online stores. Ebay has them for 177 including shipping autobarn 179 free shipping and I'm combining it with a westin relocation kit and getting a $10 coupon. Ebay for both items will come out to about 207 and at Autobarn it's 192.

Good prices.

imho
#1 e-bay is full of what they call "KC like" lights and the real KC's are found
cheaper elsewhere for the most part.
#2 On big ticket stuff, sometimes it's good to get them from a store so you
have someone to call personaly if something is wrong.

Might also contact www.truckperformance.com They're a little more expensive but they "say" that they will price match so you might can get them a little cheaper. they have free shipping like the place you listed.

I am not very happy with Autobarn.com right now. Shipped me the wrong brake pads. I ordered Akebono ACT935 and received part number ACT835. Now I have to RMA the parts and Autobarn will not ship me new correct pads until they receive the wrong pads back. So, another 2 weeks or so before I can swap the pads out.

Plus it has been an hour since I called them and they have not sent me the UPS return label as promised. Phone support there seems very unprofessional. There attitude it basically "Deal with it". Not at all interested in trying to make me a happy customer.

Won't be buying from them again.

I don't remember what, but I know I bought something from them several years ago... I didn't have any problem. I think it was my K&N drop-in filter that I got from them.

I just bought the 130 KC SlimLites from them on Thursday morning February 28th and by Thursday the next week (March 6th) they were on my porch.

No problems what-so-ever. I would feel safe buying from them again.

Why would anyone buy auto parts from a store with the word "barn" in their name?

Dont use autobarn! I've had a very difficult experience from them. I ordered something on march 9 (two things actually one from them and someone else) As of today (march 19) it had just been shipped. I emailed 4 times before i finally got a response. And the response wasnt well at all. I finally threaten to get my credit card company and paypal involved before anything happened. Customer service sucks and I am scheduled to recieve my item on march 24. 2 weeks after i ordered it. I got my other item in 4 days, which was a bull bar
