Lookin for opinions on LED bars for the back of the truck. I know the fire & ice one is pretty good, but i know its only 70 bucks some places. You get what you pay for comes to mind when i see that and i dont want to be one of those trucks with a chincy bar on the back with some leds brighter than others and some out.

 

Recon 60" line of fire Then snag one of their LED third brake lights and in march they will come out with LED tails for our trucks that arent all "ricey"....

 

They all look pretty gay. Every time I see one of those, I throw up in my mouth a little bit, specially the ones that have the lovely "feature" of flashing the left half when the left turn signal is on and the right half when the right turn signal is on. They look great when paired with that rainbow sticker that goes all the way across the tailgate.

 

Just to clarify, there are several mods that scream "I have no clue about style". The LED bar is one of them. The big bulging LED taillights is another. I hate sitting in traffic behind a truck with those things. I also hate cow bells hanging from trailer hitches and truck *****, you know those ********* that come in every color and chrome. I hate stickers on the back window of trucks, especially those huge *******ing FORD stickers that take up the whole window. Like we didn't already know it was a FORD. I hate the little kid pissing on anything. I hate bed covers that stick up more than an inch from the top of the bed. I hate tires that stick out from the side of the truck more than 2" on trucks that are not lifted at least 6". I hate truck boxes that stick up past the bottom of the back window.

There are a few other things that really irk me, but I am too drunk to think of them right now. Don't buy one of those gay LED bars...they really look terrible.

Its all a matter of opinion and i have a "GAY" tailgate LED bar and love it cause its there for safety reasons and looks kinda cool at night to me so thats all carry on

especially on a lifted truck! I think it looks bada$$.....plus not many ppl in my area have them so its unique in some aspects..everyone has there opinions though..

 

Well, my truck is a "Members Only" jacket in the eyes of freekyFX4 then... But I've got nothing but love for freeky and his sweet black SuperDuty. Don't be hatin.

I've got LED tails that have the stupid tumor. I don't really notice them that much, but they are there...wish they weren't, but oh well...they were free, so I'll deal.

I've got wheels/tires/flares that stick out on a truck lifted less than 6". I'm okay with it. My therapist says it's okay.

I've got a Big Gay Al Signature Series LED Light bar on the back...I thought it looked cool with my LED tails...lucky for my wife, I like chicks...and *****...so no rainbow flag for me.

When I come rolling out of my truck, rocking the mullet, and sporting parachute pants...I don't feel a lack of style.

 

Well sorry but I love the LEd look and have a light bar plus LED tail lights.

 

I'm with Screw-Me-05 down in FL it's a good thing for safety. Anything to get the attention of the old people that can barely see over the steering wheel.

 

I've got one too(recon), and I especially need it cause my taillights are tinted....didn't want any trouble with the law and/or people slamming into the back of me trying to claim they didn't see my taillights. I love the way it looks and always get compliments on it....but to each their own.

 

I have just the cheap Line of fire 60" one-piece bar from e-bay and its worked a treat so far!
