SOB, I ordered the wrong one!!! CW Grill.

I thought by ordering it I was going to get both the top and bottom polished for $158. After reading it carefully I found out I'm only getting the top not the bottom. Then I read this, "(Except FX-4, XLT, & Lariat Chrome Package)". I have an XLT with a chrome package. I feel like returning it now. It comes in tomorrow. I dont even want to open the box anymore.

Wow those are pricey for just bolt overs. Roush would be a good choice for your truck if your staying w/ the chrome theme. Where you located? I have a xlt grille in my garage.

no but i know where you can get a new one

as far as CW....i personally think they suck....BUT they are the ONLY ones to come out with the headlights in the grille for the 97-02, even IF it is chrome.... i was wanting it in black...and then the grille i bought from them was just jacked up so i took it off

this link shows a replacement for the h-bar grille so they do make them:

the only experience i've had with CW grilles was a replacement i bought for my dad's fx4. i thought it was constructed very well and it fit perfectly.

I think that on CW's web site they have the option of bolt over and replacement for the monster grille. Not sure which one modbarins is selling?

funny thing is, i couldn't find the MB grille on CW's website. i've seen it on various distributors' websites though.

I did not find that grill on CW website either. We have their new catalog for 08 that we used for uploading.

I know it says that it will not fit that model, but you might want to at least pull it out of the box before you just send it back. IT looks like from another picture posted it might just work, but I can not guarantee anything.

I believe Mike just sent you a response to your email in regards to returning the grill.

Thanks

Alon

there seems to be some discrepancy between CW grilles depending on what grille you have on your vehicle. f150store.com lists a bolt-over, a cut-to-fit version for the honeycomb grilles, and what i can only assume is a full replacement for the H-Bar grille as the description cryptically says "all others".

I agree. Your truck looks great. Save the $ for a different mod.
