To bull or not to bull.

I'm getting the carriage works monster grill tomorrow and am already thinking of getting a bull bar with two lights in the middle. Vote, Yes or No? If no, why? Or Prerunner bar?

I think you should get that baja bar.

^^^ i agree.

Reason: I really don't like the look of the bull bar. Looks goofy and flimsy IMO. Get some that looks a little more solid. Baja bars look sweet!

I wouldn't get a bull bar simply because you lose the tow hooks.

If you never plan on going off-road, it doesn't really matter though.

Yeah you're right, besides I just bought my tow hooks I might as well keep them.

I thought they didn't make the baja bars anymore.

I'm far from 280 but yea I think it will hold me for sure. But why do I care if you can stand on it. I dont think I will ever get into a situation where i have to stand on my bull bar. Now I understand about the off roading and tow hooks, but i keep mine on the road. Either they are all mainly for looks

I don' think that would flow with my truck. Looks best on lifted trucks.

I just noticed when I went out that my truck looks really small, Supercab with a short bed. But looks tough with the tires and higher.

I was debating the same thing. I think once people get past the bull bar is going to save your front end in a collision or hold a 300lb man up you will like it. Light bars don't help anything besides to hold lights up, thats all I would want from my bull bar is to hold lights up and look good. I say go for it JLSTANG351's truck looks REAL GOOD with his and I think yours would look similar.

Not true.

A member here has the Westin and has the OEM tow hooks still attached.

I remember seeing the pics - very impressive - but do not remember his handle. Maybe someone can chime in... or better yet, himself.

I was not saying you should care.... but I do. If, out on the trail something happen and I need to get into my engine compartment, it would be nice to have that as a little step to stand on. Thats all bud, I was just wondering. They are decently priced and you could add some lights, so I was wondering.
Yours looks pretty good btw, haven't seen the dark one on a dark rig.

but my truck sees too much dirt, I think I am better off with something from Boondocks or Road Armor.
