Yeah, it's HARDLY "flimsy". Mine has already saved my bumper! Some moron in a parking lot pulled too close to my truck and hit the bar. It broke off one of the grills on my KC's and put a small "abrasion" on the bull bar. The bumper was 100% protected, and thus fine. It has paid for itself 10 fold!
