yea my price was from the dealer.....i didnt know about tasca at the time!!!
pins are easy...you can find the wiring diagrams for an 05 and an 07 in my gallery....all 04-06 are the same and the 07-08 are the same....ford went to a one ground for all options in 07-08 to where 04-06 each option had a ground. so u have to move a ground to another pin, but that is all...everything will work, except the puddle lamp. unless u already have puddle lamps, then you will have to wire them into your cab and tie into the interior lights, but i found that wire under the driver sill.....let me know if i can be of anymore help.....later
Do you need to change the pins on the mirror connector, or the truck connector to the mirror? I have an 06 F150 Lariat that I just installed towing mirrors on. Not sure if my heating is working or not, is there an easy way to check if the heating element is working?
I have a 2007 XLT SCREW and I installed the tow mirrors with power, heat, puddle and turn signals. The power to move the mirror works and so do the puddle lights. I don't really care for the heat. The problem is that the turn signals are not working. What do I need to do to get them to work? I thought it was just plug and play. Any help?
I think it depends if you have the heated mirrors originally and if you want the puddle light to work. Like others it's been about 8 years since I did mine. What I did was I tapped into my turn signal wire and my parking light wire, then added a 4inch LED to the outside of the mirror shell. So now I have a clearance light/ turn signal on the outer most part of the mirror.

Do you have a pic of your marker light & turn signal setup? I would like to add something like that. I've been contemplating buying a set of the 2013+ Tow Max mirrors that look like the Super Duty mirrors so I can have those features.
Yeah there's room but not much, the plastic shell does come apart but you have to be very careful when undoing the clips. They are similar to the clips for the mirror covers if you have them. The lights that I used don't protrude into the mirror shell, just have the mounting nuts.

I have Power, Heat, and Signal with my current mirrors. The new ones I purchased didn't come with Puddle (as I didn't really want it) but came with Power, Heat, and Signal.
Here is the Listing on eBay of the ones I purchased for reference: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310874124622?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I believe I had to move 2 pins but to be honest with you it's been so long I can't remember which ones. I have the same setup as you cept my mirrors came with puddle which I don't use anyhow. I guess you can test it out by just plugging in to wiring harness and see what works. I know somewhere on this thread ( probably in first 20 pages) it tells you what pins.
So I have an 07 FX4 that the power mirrors just up and died on. The fuse is good but the mirrors no longer move and there is power and signal at the control (If i checked it right) is there another relay/switch/fuse for the power mirrors because i really wasn't interested in fixing them till I found this thread and eBay has the mirrors for $80ish a piece free shipping.
I do not have heated mirrors that I know of (I do not see a button for them) how would I go about adding them.
