The wiring I'm not to worried about. I can figure that out. It's just the bolting/mounting I'm concerned.

Here is the only picture he sent me:

Yes they will bolt right up no problem!

They may bolt up but they aren't the same. The '09-'10 mirrors look sharp but the '04-'08 are butt ugly.

OK cool, I'm making the deal now and hope to have them in the next day or so.

Those caps (the top part painted white), I should be able to just sand them down and paint them black with some trim spray...right?

I think. In that picture the tops are white. I of course have a blue truck which would look kinda ghetto so I need them to be default black.

If u want to paint them you can, best bet would be to take the caps off and have them sprayed, should cost about 100 bucks or so. You can spray them yourself but idk how long they last like that.

Or u can buy the chrome caps for them like I did, or just buy the plain plastic ones to put on.

I think the chrome caps were only $13 or so, the black has to be cheaper

BTW can you just take off the top cap of the mirror? So if you wanted to take the top half off and take to the body shop for PTM I could?
Or have to take in the whole mirror?

Yes, the top half of the mirror comes off, this is called the "skull cap"

You need to remove the glass, and loosen 4 torx screws, then un clip the cap from the mirror.

I don't have the part number for the chrome skull caps in front of me but let me look later tonight and see what I can dig up.
