hey sorry it tok me a little while to respond, i was out of town. i mean if you talked to the guy and he said he would refund you if somehting like that happend then i would keep them becuase they are so cheap and the hella f150 blackouts are 229.99 from 4wheelparts. good luck, let me know how they work for you

yea i thought the same thing, i waxed them with that ice wax everytime i washed my truck and they still did it. i didnt do it so they wouldnt crack though i did it becuase its easier to get bugs off the front of my truck.

well, i sent them back, because they didn't fit like the stock ones did. too much of a gap all around them. going to just brake down and buy the hella's

I really like those HLs! I've been considering a set of HD or FX2/4 HDs, but these seem like a great compromise on price and looks? Hell, for $92 that is not a bad deal at all! I may just have to order me a set soon.

Still uses the stock bulb sizes I presume?

yes they do, or you can use aftermarkets.

06F150STX: How big of a gap are we talking ? Any pics ? ?? ? I am also looking into getting some dark heads, not sure which route to go (and I have the ability to burn Kool-Aid... so no over for me)

sorry i don't have any pics, but the top and sides were fine. the bottom was way more than stock. didn't look right. i guess you get what you pay for.

Well, it's nice to know that my word of caution was received...even if it wasn't heeded!

I love the Hellas...too bad I managed to make mine work, would have been a good excuse to get some.

thats what i've trying to tell some people, but they still telling me that it will not look good. that is one sick looking truck. that looks just like the front of my truck. now i know it will look good with blackouts.
