Your friend must be a complete idiot for even paying that.

Well if he payed $200 (couple hundred) and they charged him $300 for shipping ($500 total) and he payed it then he must have been out of his mind. Of course if the item actually warranted a $300 shipping fee and it was worth it to him, then I can understand. But if he payed $300 for shipping for an item that could have been shipped for $20-30 then he would have been an idiot.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to come off as a jerk.

ive had these headlights for about 7 or 8 months now and i havent had a problem untill about a week ago. they arent leaking.. knock on wood... but the clear platic lenses that are like "OEM quality" have like little spidercrack lookin lines all over them. you cant notice from dar but whn i was detailing my truck i noticed them and when you stand inforn of the truck i can notice them. not sure what caused it but im trying to gt them replaced now.im going with the hella f150 blackout upgrades. good luck with yours. by the way i also got mine off of ebay 115 shipped, you get what you pay for i learned

Those are some nice lights, good price to. Wonder how they would look on a silver truck with chrome vertical grill?

Agreed.

I was all set on purchasing the HD heads and tails just a few weeks ago.

I then saw an all-white '07 Screw at the local dealership's service dept with the HD heads and thought it didn't look right.

I [quickly] pulled the plug.

I would just keep a good coat of wax on them and you shouldn't have any problems with cracking.

Yea, me and the oven didn't get along either. I finally finished the project but it was hell. To do it again I'd order the Hella's from www.tirerack.com or from another place I saw mentioned recently that had them cheaper. Do a search for hella and it should come up.

Here's my writeup of the ordeal -> https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=318620
