DEAL or NO DEAL??!?.. --- PICS --- inside!!! <---UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

ok.. so heres the scoop.. driving to a muffler shop with a buddy and see this parked in a lot off the road.. so i pull in and take a look.. i had seen this truck around town before.. so i get out and start lookin at it and seein what it was made of..

found out it was a procomp and a spacer, 22" rockstars, and 325/60/22 i believe.. (what is that by the way?.. 36's?)

also saw a train horn, and has black interior, and a flip out dvd and subs..

so as i was lookin at it, the guy came out and said, "ill sell it to you!".. and i said foreal?!?.. and he said ya so i asked how much and said $25,000..

and in my head i was like damn... thats a good price.. and then found out it only had 40,000 miles!!!.. at a local lifted truck sales lot, they were asking 25,000 for a 04, lifted with 70k miles!!.. and no train horn or stereo...

i also asked him if it had ever been off road, and he said its never seen mud or anyhting.. which is good for me.. i dunno if its regeared or not.. but thats something i could do..

so im realllllly intrested in gettin this.. even asked him if he would trade for my stang.. and he said no, i want to get into a superduty..

so i would prolly have to sell private and then give the money to him..

but this is only if i can convice my parents to let me have the truck while i live at home for about 6 months more..

the only negatives about this buy/truck...
-22's instead of 20's..
-me not living on my own yet, so i have the problem that my parents dont want a big truck in the drive way... (bull**** IMO)...

what do you guys think? and also, i asked him about his ball joints, and how long he has had that spacer on, and he said only 2 months.. and lastly, he has had it for sale for 2 months and no hits...

WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!

!!!!!! UPDATE !!!!!!

MYCOLOR option, satellite radio, better alarms system (motion detectors, very impressed with factory system), shaker 500 6 disc (has two 10" subs in the door, and i think like 6 other speakers in the car) and more that i cant seem to remember as far as coming from the dealer..

INTERIOR
-carbon fiber dash (OEM)
-Hurst Short Throw Shifter
-Interior lighting, (red dash lights, courtesy lighting [foot well lighting], blue neon trunk light, etc)

-15% tint all around

~$3,500 in mods.....

-Hood Scoop
-Rear Spoiler
-Xenon side window scoops
-18x9 (front) and 18x10 (rear) Chrome bullit replicas

-Painted to match brake calipers (not shown in pictures)
-Smoked clear corner parking lights (not shown in pictures)

UNDER THE HOOD
-C&L racer intake (95mm MAF)

-Chrome wire loom
-Stainless steel braided hose
-Intake Manifold/plenum cover
and not really under the hood, but QTP cutouts for exhuast

as far as numbers...
..from dyno after tune
-RWHP @ 291.05
-RWTQ @ 311.95

haven't ran at the track yet.. but expect anywhere from 13.00 -13.40.. someone i know with equal or less mods ran a 12.8 at less HP, and stock tires.. so its possibly a 12 second car if you can drive.. we will see when i take it to the track..

Exclamation Buy The Mother

It's a nice truck! I wouldn't take everything off just to put it back on though.

What year is your Stang? Got some pics?
Know someone who may be interested!

I mean its not really a negative about the 22's.. just not a whole lot of side wall.. i woud rather run 20's and 37's.. but i can live with 22's thats for sure..

and about the stang.. its an 07.. some info in my sig... and i can get you some pics.. they are some what old.. but the only real difference is the calipers are now color matched and not red.. and its got a hurst, and alot of other goodies..

spent about 3500-4000 on it.. with all the mods.. bought it new for 28,900

has about 14k miles

Harder to find bigger tires and more expensive than a 20 inch rim tire would be.

Not if your rents are cool. Nothing beats living and eating for free man.

True - though, surely there's not an obscene amount of $$$ difference between 20" and 22" tires, correct? - but there's already tires on it, so....

Maybe so, but man...I couldn't do it. My parents are cool, but I moved out at 18 and never looked back. Plus, he's complaining that they won't let him park a large truck in their driveway (which is their right if it's their house).

The truck looks sweet though. I guess if it isn't going to cost you any extra than there isn't any reason not to do it.

edit: Sweet! I just lost the 'junior member' status, and it only took me 4 years!!! LOL
