I agree with MercedesTech, find a nice stock truck and build it to your liking.
Judging by those tires I highly doubt he took it offroad. Some people build big trucks just to look good. Theres no way i would go muddin in a $30k truck

ya, thats how i feel about it.. but at the same time.. half the reason i want a truck, is becuase if the situation comes, that i really need to use my truck for what its made for.. like lets say a bad hurricane, or emergency situation.. stuff like that.. i dont wanna have to worry about scratchin rims bc my sidewall is only 5 inches tall or whatever is is.. but i also want it to look good.. 20's fit IMO.. 18's would work too..

I love that section of SR 417...oh yeah, that's because I designed it!

I designed SR 417 from where it used to end at US 17/92 to the end of the bridge over Old Lake Mary. I also worked on Airport Blvd. from 17/92 to CR 46A.
are you a surveyor or engineer or what?

Civil engineer. I design roads, interstate, highways, etc. I am working on an interchange at US 17/92 and SR 436 right now. I designed the interchange at SR 50 and SR 436. They just started construction on it.

Yes, the SR 50 and SR 436 will be a single point urban interchange with SR 50 going over SR 436.
http://www.kurumi.com/roads/interchanges/spui.html

The job also includes 3.5 miles of total reconstruction of SR 50. When finished it will be 6 lanes, 32' median, curb and gutter, 4' bike lanes, new sidewalks, all new drainage, etc. US 17/92 and SR 436 will be the same type of interchange with 17/92 over SR 436. We are working on the design right now.

Are you in high school or college? I graduated in Civil Engineering from UCF back in '94.

from another engineer on the East Coast! I do mainly railroads, but I've dabbled in some roadway work. Do you work for the FDOT or a consulting company?

im in college.. workin on a basic AA right now, and about to start at the fire academy, and then next term, im going to start working towards getting my certification in cad or drafting or whatever it is.. i dunno.. its a thought..

im considering offering drafting skills/CAD to local cabinetry shops, and doing there bids, and making plans for them.. dunno what i would charge or anyhting like that.. but it would work real well with the fire schedule (24hrs on shift, 48 off..) and could do it at home.. i used to be big into woodworking/cabinetry, but could only do it during summers in highschool..
