Those with Roush Grill - Please Read

Okay, so I have been drooling over this grill for some time now, and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered . . . 2.

There is no way that I can deal with the lower grill not matching the upper grill, so when it arrives, I will install one, and hack up the other one to fit in my lower opening.

My question is, would anyone be interested in purchasing the scrap grill to do the same so I can recoupe some of my money? Of course I will post pictures once its done, and I wont hold anyone to it, but if it turns out like I think it will, it should be a slick setup. The way I figure, we should be able to get 3 lower grills out of one upper.

Lemme know.

actually that lower bumper insert of the new Carriage Works Monster Bar grill looks like it would go with the Roush grill? It was just posted today in this thread:

Maybe. I think the Roush grill has a lot thicker bars though. I guess maybe I'm **** about it matching. Will post pictures when it's all done.

Finally somebody thinks my idea is worth it... Ive often thought of trading my carriage works grilles for roush grilles, just got other mods goin...Should look amazing! id make a cardboard template of the lower grille area, hack it up, then glue some tabs to the back and zip tie that sucker up!

Chris, if you go ahead and make two, I'd be interested in the other one. Let me know.

I made two, there should be enough to make one for the newer bumpers with the smaller hole. No one seemed to interested in my idea when I first asked, so I wasn't really trying to be careful to save, but the whole top four slats are untouched, so it should work for an 06+

Yes, I have 4 slats remaining from the original grill. It would only be enough for a 06+, so it looks like you qualify. I'm not supposed to sell things in the forum, I was going to put up a for sale in the classified section, but if you want to PM me about it, I don't think that would hurt.
