Autometer Digital Boost and Trans Temp gauges installed. What do you think?

I first tried to install the Saleen S331 boost and ACT temp center gauges a while back, but after a while of troubleshooting, I figured out that the Saleen S331 gauges will not work with any other supercharger setup other than Saleen’s twin screw setup. I decided to go with digital gauges because I figured not that many people go with digital gauges, so I wanted to be a little unique.

The only thing I might change in the future is to construct a center pod on top of the dashboard and relocate the digital gauges to that location. Other than that, I really like these gauges because the red LED’s are bright and crisp. So what do you think of the digital gauges that I installed?

Love em, I am an analog guy, but autometer makes SWEET stuff.

Here are a couple of my old setups.

Nice pics. I agree with you on the third picture. I would probably go crazy looking at all those gauges if I was driving.

Looks Good!

I made one for the center on my truck for my 2 5/8 boost gauge with the ability to go with 2 more gauges which will be shortly. This was my first attempt not 100% happy but it is functional, stll need to tweek the design.

there are more pics of the pod in my gallery.

I saw that picture a while back and I was thinking about doing a custom gauge pod like yours, but I’ve been too lazy lately to try, so I just decided to go with the two pod pillar. I think for your first attempt, you did a very good job. The only two things I would suggest for your second attempt is to make it less bulky and to use plastic instead of wood so it matches better with your interior. But honestly, as long as it’s functional, that’s all that really matters.

because of the airbags, I have to run a couple gauges. I never like the dual needle setup (currently running one) so i grabbed a couple auto meter air pressure gauges. I swapped my single DIN head unit to the lower bay, and i'm makin up a plate right above it for the 3 gauges, similar to CDC's pod that replaces the ash tray in the flow through console.

This was the pod I use to use

I got tired of it and took it out. I moved my Trans. Temp gauge to here

I like it better here. Plus, now I have the EDGE gauges as well

Did you paint your edge plastics white?

It's not white, more tan than it looks in the picture. But yes, I painted it and the EDGE pod.
