The trans temp gauge does look a whole lot better in the coin holder slot.

Question I Like, now help me decide......

I like what you did there. That is the Autometer pod, right? It still allows you to use your grab bar too? And help me out here. I have a stock 5.4 2007 FX4. So besides a tranny temp gauge, what else would I put in there for a gauge? A clock? I'll bet they don't make a digital clock that matches the digital tranny temp gauge. Does the gauge come in other colors other than red? What to do, what to do?

I decided to go with digital gauges because I figured not that many people go with digital gauges, so I wanted to be a little unique.

The only thing I might change in the future is to construct a center pod on top of the dashboard and relocate the digital gauges to that location. Other than that, I really like these gauges because the red LED’s are bright and crisp. So what do you think of the digital gauges that I installed?

No, I didn't take it apart. I just masked off the buttons and the screen and sprayed it.

The gauge pod is the autometer gauge pod that is compatible with 04-08 F-150’s. The reason I went with the two pod pillar instead of the three pod pillar is because with the three pod pillar, it would require removal of the grab bar, which was something I didn’t want to do. I like grabbing the bar to get inside my truck. As far as options go, you have several to choose from: Voltmeter, oil pressure, water temp and so on. You can check autometer.com to see the rest of list. I’m not sure, but I believe that the other color that is available is light blue.

You can’t go wrong with a trans temp gauge.

i gotta ask though, about the boost gauge. it looks like its showing a vacuum unless im reading it wrong... i only ask because because mine does the same thing... im quite sure that i just tapped into the wrong vacuum line and i have just havent taken the time to figure it out yet. just curious what the deal is with yours
