Would bushwacker pocket flares be too big?
Would bushwacker pocket flares be too big?
I need to get some wider fender flares for my Toyos. I have the stock Lariat fender flares, and althought I like the way the tires stick out a big, I hate the mess it throws all over the truck.....based on the pic below would the pocket fender flares be too wide? The bushwacker website says 2" of coverage, so I think i should be fine....I just dont want to get these monster fender flares that dwarf my tires.
I think that the pocket style flare is going to look way too big on your truck. IMO, the pocket styles only look good when running 6"+ of lift and 37's. Otherwise they over power the looks of the truck and make the tires look really small.
I would say leave your truck the way it is, and just wash the truck 2-3 times a week.

Thanks guys....I kinda thought they might be too big. I really want some extra protection though. I would have run these tires in the winter, but I swapped them out for my stockers cause I didnt want the salt all over the side of the truck. I live in a condo, so washing my truck several times a week is near impossible. I will keep looking...
they would make your tires look WAY small, sometimes I think they make my 37's look small, but then so does 10" of lift....
shoulda,coulda,woulda got 38's
mine still sling crap everwhere b/c they stick out an inch past the flares still, but that is how i planned it. I dont like the tucked in look.
you might look at the xenon flares they are subtle, the egr's look out of place to me.
