Before & after pic/vid!

Well I have been wanting to do this ever since I got the black rims on my truck. Now after getting the rims/tires if you looked in the wheel all you saw was a rusted rotor/ caliper ect.... Well I went up to the auto store and got some duplicolor caliper paint.

It took me about an hour to do all 4 but here are the before and after pictures. thought id share with you guys.

Before

After

I think it made a huge difference appearance wise.

ALSO have a video I posted on here for a friend that wanted to hear my truck. Sorry for bad quality, its all I have right now.

Do you have to take the calipers apart or can you just spray right over? I really want to do this.

I have the 4.6 v8 and my exhaust setup is a SI/DO imco muffler extended with 2.5 inch pipes turned out right next to my receiver hitch.

Do you have to take the calipers apart or can you just spray right over? I really want to do this.
Nope not at all, all you have to do is tape off the aread where the actual pad will be touching an then your good to start painting.

Any extra paint that gets on the actual rotor where your pad will touch, it will just come right off when you take your next drive.

No this paint I bought says if you prep and clean the rotor before spraying then this will last a long time. a buddy has done it on his mustang about 2 years ago and it still looks good and noticeable.

Thanks for all the comments guys!!
it was a very cheap/nice mod.
