I think you're talkin around the 90 buck mark.

 

ive owned both the Edge and a Custom Tuned xcal2 (currently running). Custom tunes are FAR better.

 

I have an edge but wish I had custom tunes.

 

It's about 90 bucks from most dealers to recalibrate the speedo, although I did get one quote for about 40... You can get a used Superchips tuner for abut $150

 

I bought a JLT CAI & Xcal3 for my 5.4 and I love it. Don't buy a used 1 unless you can test it first. When the tune is loaded onto the vehicle it locks the programmer to the VIN of that vehicle and it can't be reused unless the vehicle is returned to the stock program. With the Xcal 3 you can adjust for tire size, gear ratio, shift firmness, shift points (rpms or mph), adjust timing, 87-91-93 octane tunes,data logging, plus when you buy a CAI from JLT they have a custom tune on it for their kits.
