I have an 04 5.4 3V and im putting a whipple on this next weekend. I was thinking of doing dual exhaust 2.5" pipe each with an Xpipe. However if I run no mufflers and have the pipes go over the axle like stock, how would would it be? I want it loud when I floor it, but not so loud when i cruise town to listen to music and such. I hope true dual exhaust with a S/C isnt to much pipe for what its farting out. I just figured its a very cheap upgrade.

 

there are a lot of huys on here running duals i just removed the muffler and put on a turndown and it really is as loud as you want to make it. just cruising it is quiet but as soon as you give it gas it gets loud. i dont know what it would sound like with the s/c though. if you do it get some soundclips so we can hear it and some pics too. good luck

 

My biggest concern is the DRONE while crusing, but I think with an Xpipe and 2.5" pipe back wouldnt be to bad.
