Does anyone know how to take apart (or if its possible to) the STX Mirrors? I want to put in some cutom LED turn signals. About 6 or 7 5MM Orange LED's. Its gonna run me about $25 as opposed to buying a set of XLT Mirrors $300. Thanks in advance!

 

id just upgrade the mirrors. i hate my mirrors cause everytime someone hits them i have to get out and adjust it. as for taking apart the mirror i have no idea

 

I dont think you can take them apart, you might be able to take the glass out but thats about it. I think you might have to drill some holes and fish some wire up in there. If that is the case you should look for a spare set on Ebay/Craigslist.

I don't ever see them on ebay for $80. Do you have any search help on ebay so I can find them?

 

just get the street scene mirrors.they are about 100 bucks without signals.you can get them with signals.i have those same ugly stx mirrors and im going with the street scene mirrors.stylinconcepts.com
