Thumbs up Taxes

I cant wait till I get my taxes back. I found out Ill be getting about 4k back. So I did some shopping for when I get them back.

17x8.5 MB motoring razor rims
36x13.5 SS IROKS
Volant intake
Custom Flowmaster exhaust
6'' procomp lift
Edge Evo
Fender flares
Black side steps
Tires mounted and balanced with an alignment

Grand Total: $4100

I cant wait but Im gonna start saving now so I dont have to use all the tax money. That way maybe Ill be able to have the gears for Rausch Creek. I cant wait for either. Why is it taking so long. What do you all think about this setup. I think its gonna look awesome.

Sounds sweet. I'd personally go with some wider wheels however.

Not to get political but keep in mind you're not getting a check for anything - it's money that you have already earned (and was withheld) from you.

I've always put my "returns" towards next year's taxes - though it is tempting to spend it!

get the kit with coilovers or a fabtech with a leveling kit, other wise those tires wont fit and a wider tire would be nice.

Fabtech is more expensive and I already have a leveling kit. And why would I need a wider tire then a 13.50. I really dont want anything wider.

Once they give me my money back, The only mod I am planning on is a tuner, gears, and limited slips. (to help with mileage and traction), beyond that for this year, we are concentrating on getting debt paid off, and with any luck, a nursery...

Oh yeah, and eFans... I need to get my gas mileage up...

Makes no sence (and no $$$ an cents) to let govt. keep your $4k for a year and you get no interest on it. You should lower your witholding, let govt. have only what theyadre entitled to take from you in taxes, and invest it. Then you will a couple hundred bucks that you can use for a couple tanks of gas. What a country - eh!

I would be willing to bet that the backspacing on those wheels won't clear that knuckles of a lifted truck.

not to bum anyone out but the gov. just announced there will be a delay on tax returns. something about new laws confusing them or something. sorry i don't have more info... just heard it on the news half awake this morning.

i also would suggest maybe looking for a wheel thats at least 9 - 10 inches wide. tire width is fine but that narrow of a wheel wont allow for those tires to have a full 13.5" foot print. something to think about. plus wider wheel looks sweet imo.
