Ya, looking at your pics i don't see a real need for anything brighter.... but when you get up on some lonely trail and you want to really brighten it up... the high beam option would be a great thing to have. So how much does a kit like your vs. a bixenon kit cost ? If ya don't mind me asking. Or rough estimate would be fine. And where did you get your stuff? I would like a good reputable place to buy from.... all my parts guys can only get European and import crap.

I bought one kit off of thumper and the other from the same ebay seller he used. I'm not sure on the link but I will find it and post it up later. I paid 70 shipped for the fogs. Not bad at all if you ask me. Once again I'm not sure on the price of the heads I think they're a little more due to bulb size. Let me assure you, I live out in the middle of no where with back country roads that are crazy and there are many hills and I have zero problems. When I am out at my farm too there are no issues as well tons of light!

Thanks a lot Jwool. I may just take your word for it. Knowing your a good ole boy living out in some back rural roads makes me feel a bit better. i was worried this was "plenty of light" for city streets. I will definately check em out and let yall know which route I go.
Thumper: Thanks a lot for the link. Haven't seen ya around for awhile. I see you sold your truck ? Is that your new Mustang in your sig ? ? ? Any more pics ? Looks nice

Yea thats his new stang I think he has a few other pics in his gallery. Thump will vouch for this too with just the heads there was tons of light output. But with the heads and fogs both its unreal.

Yup, sold the truck and moved onto the Mustang.

Just like Jwool said, these things are BRIGHT !! IMO I wouldn't even use fogs unless I was the only vehicle on the road. They do glare a little bit so I recommend you adjust your headlights a little further down than normal. I got flashed quite a bit and than I adjusted them, ZERO flashes.

Thump: That Stang looks INCREDIBLE. Seriously man. Even had to get some of the other guys out in the shop right now in here to check it out (they are all car guys and don't care much for the trucks i look at) They all give you a big thumbs up. Really dig the blacked out look. Its hard to tell but is that the shaker hood scoop ??? Now all you gotta do is replace that silly Gator with a Trojan and your sig would be one of the best on the site. I would even settle for a Golden Bear

Thanks a lot man, I love it. Nope, it's just the factory hood scoop that comes on them with the "appearance pkg" I'm planning on getting a Steeda hood eventually though. I'm having my mirrors painted, chin spoiler, and GT500 rear spoiler painted right now.

Are you gonna buy an HID kit for the stang thump? And how do you like the windshield tint does it screw up your vision or make things more hazardous at all?

I want HID's but I use my brights occasionally, not so much for additional light but tell people to get out the way, let them in, etc. What happens when you pull your brights back, nothing?

I want to get my windshield tinted, I know I will end up getting pulled over. Anyone know any legal loopholes?

I thought about that too entrevino. I figured I would either just give a tap or two on the horn or try flashin the fog lights.

Nope, there has been a lot of problems trying to do HIDs in the Mustangs ... unless you pay the $800 for Saleen HIDs.

I only have 55% on the windshield so you can't even tell at night. It just helps a LOT with the heat inside.
