trust me man there is no use for high beams at all. This is all the light output you'll ever need I haven't even thought about needing high beams. And I took the pictures with my iphone not even a good quality camera.

I have them in heads and fogs too just disappointed a true HID setup is not as bright as the scattered output of ours.

The thing is that I live in rural wisconsin, and there are lots of deer that seem to love to jump in front of vehicles, almost every day on the way to or from work I will see a fresh deer along the road that hit. So the more light the better, thus being the reason that I would like to have the high beams.

I have to agree here. On my sportbike I had 6000K HID lights without a high beam and they were alright if you did the speed limit, and never went on back roads at night with a bunch of curves. I was going to change out the bulbs for a high/low beam setup but one of the bulbs or something went out as my right headlight stopped working. So I just put the stock ones back in and running that now. Not too impressed with just low beam Ebay HID's as my first experience was not the greatest.

well you shouldnt run with the highbeams and the headlights on at the same time, will burn up the bulb, fixture, and harness.

but here's something to look at:

Yikes, I saw the other pics in that set. It looks like when the roof crushed down that some ones head exploded and barfed all over the passenger rear door.

wow, I doubt there's an answer but why didn't it hold up a little better than that. Looks like the occupants were killed by a deer.

I don't want to have the low beams and high beams on at the same time. I just want to put in a good quality kit that will has both high beams and low beams, since most HID kits are low beam only. So I can push the lever forward to highs and pull it back for lows, just like stock.

p.s. sorry about derailing/hijacking your thread Jwool.

The driver was doing 80mph and the deer jumped. any car or truck would have come out about the same

Jwool: Looks AWESOME man ! With your new lights, do you still have a high beam option? I know you said there is no need for it, but is it there if you want it? Wanting to go a similiar route here real soon. Thanks for the help
