Reprogamming for larger tires?

Is there a way to reprogram you trucks computer for larger tires WITHOUT buying an aftermarket tuner.

Can the dealer or even like goodyear do it?

Yes, take it to the dealer and they can do it for you.

If I'm not mistaken the dealer only has a few sizes to choose from. So a tuner might need to be needed. Also some dealers will say they cannot and others say they can??? Just ask around I think most people on here said it was around $75 -$100 for the dealer.

Take it to a dealer, but just give you a heads up if you take the truck to Dahl Ford they most likely won't reprogram it, atleast the one in Onalaska. I don't know why, but they wouldn't do it on a buddies 06 F350 when he took it to them. But it can't hurt to ask, maybe the service writer that Skipp was dealing with was just being s ***** about it.

Dealer may not be able to do it but worth a try, I had 285/70/17 on my 03 F150, stock was 265/70/17, They couldnt reprogram mine for that change in tire size.
