I think the blacked out lights look good, they make the bed look a little longer which goes well with the lift proportionally. I really don't like the Harley tails either, had them on my black Lariat and they just didn't look right to me...not dark enough....I'd go for the dark look on the tails, one thing I've seen people do that I think looks cool is mask off the backup light area and just paint the red part, kind of breaks up all the black. Your truck looks great...have you thought about changing out the grey flares to black ones?

If someone rear ends him cause his tails are dark its not his fault. The person who rear ended him needs to get off their cellphone or go to driving school if they can't tell the vehicle in front of them is slowing down or stopped without it having bright brake lights. Even though none of that matters if the person sues.
I do have to Nay though, those are really dark. I'd try Harley tails if it was my truck, but thats just my two cents, I read you dont like em but Idonno what other tails I'd put on that truck, I really don't like the aftermarket LED ricer burner pieces.
