What is this Wire Harness?

I was putting in my power locks a little while ago and I came across a harness that appeared to be unplugged. I have never seen this before and everything works ok on my truck. Does anyone know what this would or should go to?

it looks like you knocked it down from its original position. I dont think it is supposed to be attached to anything

here is where it is suppose to be mounted...

underneath the steering wheel

yeah its where the dealer plugs in to check diagnostics etc...

Diagnostics port, shouldn't be anything plugged into that unless your at the dealer with a problem.

oh, i just had the viper 5900 remote start and security system installed at Best Buy yesterday. That is where they put the switch to turn on or off the remote start function. (or it might be the valet switch so i can turn of the security system.)

True that, I should have said that too, mine is plugged in as we speak don't know how I forgot
