Tweaked the colors a little and it makes for one sick photo.

And a sweet signature.

Thanks! No I didn't adjust anything, but I like what you did. I really like that picture alot, the wife took it as I was driving it off the rocks. I am torn between that one and the other one 05extcabflare mentioned as a possible signature, they are both great shots.

Temp was 82F, but if it makes you feel any better it's only supposed to be 78F today.

Awesome pics WX! Say I see a bit of a what looks like a base sticker glow there on your windshield. You in the service over there? I used to be stationed there at Hickam doing enroute. Really loved being over there even if it did get old on the 4th year.

Yeah I'm the Command Master Chief at the weather forecasting center here in Pearl, our command is actually on the PACFLT compound. Hickam's really nice and we go over there occassionally for a few things from time to time. What do you mean doing enroute? When I think enroute I think enroute weather, but not sure if Air Force speak for enroute is the same for a Navy weather guy's thinking of enroute is the same thing.

We took care of the planes passing through from other bases. Such as putting gas on and handling any required maintenance. Pretty easy up till 9/11 then the whole world changed on us. At least your not on a ship. Always felt a bit sorry for those guys getting stationed there at Pearl and shipping out for months at a time. I guess weather there would be pretty easy... small chance of rain and wind on the north, sunny on the south, high of 72 low of 68.

Yeah I did my ship tours in California and Virginia, Hawaii's too nice of a place to come to to do sea duty. Yeah the island weather is pretty easy, but our area of responsibilty isn't the island itself. We are responsible for forecasting weather in the Pacific & Indian Oceans all the way south of Australia as well as the North Arabia Sea. We're responsible for every ship in those areas and rerouting them if their projected movement takes them over predetermined weather maximum conditions.

So are you still active duty?
