A2 looks like you need a front receiver hitch with one of those bed extender type setups or a brush guard. I wouldn't want those straps rubbing against my front end like that.

The front straps actually don't wear the paint. They've got clear plastic sleeves around the rope that I position where the rope goes over my grill. I've got the chrome package, so there's a wide strip of chrome around my grill. The straps go from the bow of the boats down to the front tow hooks.

The pics are of my 06 that had a 6.5' bed. It will be interesting this spring when I set it all up on my 07 for the first time since it has a 5.5' bed. I'm thinking at least a bull bar may be needed.

THat's exactly what I'm looking for...But I think I'm going to do the cargo basket on top. I've been looking on ebay for them, but I can't find the q towers on there and I don't want to pay full price for them on the yakima website. Do you think you can get me the numbe of the "fit kit" that you used so I can look it up and make sure that's the same one I found? Also what price was yours around altogether? Thanks
