Looking for Pics of Dumped Exhaust
Just don't dump it on the axle, you'll overheat your rearend as some have done. Also, a buddy just recently dumped his, he's lowered. It definitely quieted down outside, and is the same inside the cab. It used to sound louder, if it wasn't for that discovery I'd dump mine as well. It definitely looks better than my current tips imo.

I have heard differing opinions on if dumping is louder or not.
Some say that the turn downs reflect the sound off the ground so it can be heard bettter, but here I see that some say it quiets it down. Does anyone else know about this????
If I do it I will be staight pipe dumping it behind the axle to reduce in cab drone and not heat the axle.

I loved when mine was dumped but after a while since I was in a single cab it was just to damn loud in the cab so I extended it out the back on each side of my trailer hitch. I now can at least hear my stereo now, BUT it did sound better dumped.
