im in the same spot your in...sept im outta school.i working my *** off for the truck i love.. im taking a course to become a charter boat captain, outta penscola florida.i know theres not alot of money involved but im getting payments in a my fishing future is set so ill never have to retire just catch fish an try my hardest in the flw pro tour. im 18 an i thought school would be good but those loans will tear you to pieces after school plus it got in the way of me an my tourney fishing. an here in florida charter boats are a big thing.tourist love it but you have to grow up on the water to know what to do every day.

then again im living with my parents til i pay the truck off + the boat.......

but all i just need a good girl a house my truck a boat an my black lab to make life good

You gotta do what you gotta do....but damn, that $15K in mods that you're basically loosing would have bought a few classes

First off, I would NEVER kick a guy when he's down but I agree with Cope. My wife and I make real good money, but with a 1.5 year old (and hopefully another on the way), a big house payment plus all the money that goes with owning a home, my money is earmarked for months ahead. Sure I have a slush fund for bargain basement eBay mods, but as much as I would like to have a big lift w/ 35's and pounding sound system, and the rest, I'd just be short changing myself and my family.

Dude, you're young and not too late to learn a lesson with this financial bump in the road. Invest and prioritize your money wisely and you won't be putting yourself in tough situations like this.

From all your posts you seem like a good kid, and I hope things work out for ya! Keep up with the school work!!

I'm not trying to kick anyone when they're down, but it just seems like such a waste :o There have been quite a few young people on this site who have spent THOUSANDS on their trucks only to sell them a few months later and loose all they dough they've invested in them. But like I said before, you gotta do what you gotta do.

I truly hope you can work something out Tonka....I'd hate to see you have to part ways with your truck after you've set it up so nicely. Good luck

Did not mean to imply that you were...sorry about that, my bad! But once again, I agree wholeheartedly with your point. It's a shame, but at least they're young!
