Pwr driver & passenger heated seats were a $640.00 option in 2004 on the lariat I have them and my wife loves it

they are an option on the leather seats. Can't get heated seats without leather. Best option ever. I love mine. The heated seats in the truck aren't near as good as the heated seats in my focus though. The truck has a 10 minute timer, and the focus cycles. The truck doesn't get warm very fast either.

thats one thing I like about my wife's suburban, they stay on until you tell them to turn off

I wholeheartedly disagree about not needing them for more than 10 minutes. on a cold morning, you can start them off on high, get them nice and hot and switch it to low and leave it for hours

I never saw a need for heated seats until I got them on my last vehicle. Heated seats, heated grips along with a heated vest works wonders on a cold day when you are on a motorcycle and the F-150 is sitting in the garage.
