Well guys, got the shim kit put on to level out the truck, and pretty much after it was done, i went and picked up my friend and we went mudding. Now, it has been raining here for a while and the ground is soaked and it was raining all day. For you memphians, I went across from southwind first and drove around a bit (first time since lift that i went mudding), and pulled two people out that were stuck. got kinda bored and started heading down towards the ms border on hacks cross. I got to holmes rd and turned and went town aways till i saw an under construction neighborhood being built. the road was semi paved, but we just took it through a bunch of lots. we got there around 430 and around 445 we were starting to leave and just about as we were gonna get back on the street, i hit a sink hole on the passenger side and it started sinking fast. the driver side was in the air and the truck should have flipped and i have no clue how it didnt. the mud was up to the door on the passenger and the wheels and tires were under all the mud, and we both jumped out the driver side. we called up a buddy that had a chevy, he couldnt get us out. a bronko then tried, didnt work. finally a tow truck (the kind that pulls semis) came around 7 and took 30-45 min to pull me out. thank god the truck didnt flip, we are ok, and everything still works ok. went to the carwash and was there an hour getting all the mud off the truck and the underbody. everything seems to work ok and nothing was broken, but the ammount of mud, was ridiculous. sorry the only picture i got was with my camera phone and it was dusk and raining so you cant tell what the pic is. im just happy everyone is safe and the truck isnt messed up!

hey, it was dark and raining, otherwise there would be pics. besides we were in the middle of nowhere and i didnt feel like havin my mom bring the camera to take pics. ill paint a picture for u. mud had filled the whole wheel well on the passenger side front and rear wheels.

ya, what can i say, im at college and i came home to visit for xmas and since no one else could get me out, she had to call AAA and she is the member not me. and she wanted to make sure her baby was ok. ur just jelous. she shoulda brought me some samwhiches!!!!

I sure hope so... I see that the Nissan Frontier has the best 0-60 times with the 6 speed stick... my friend has one... it is awesome for offroad... we already took it offroad... the mud had no chance in getting that small truck stuck... especially with the 6 speed manual.

Just like I don't have a problem in the snow... I've never gotten stuck.

I really wish Ford would offer a 5 or 6 speed stick mated to the 5.4l or even the 4.6l v8... that thing would be the BEAST.
