Would a FX2 lower valance look odd on my FX4?

I have been kicking around the idea about replacing my black lower valance on my FX4 with a DSG FX2 valance. My truck is silver & DSG (pics in gallery).
Do you think it would look out of place? I have not seen another FX4 do it so I am just trying to visualize on my ride. Opinions welcome and thanks

I think it would look ok....you have to remove your tow hooks though I believe.

Tow hooks were removed a while ago and replaced with 07 black valance (no hook cutouts). As mentioned pics in gallery w/current pics. Thanks.

It *will* look funny. the way it angles out on the bottom is clearly meant to be near the ground. I've seen the previous gen F150s that are lifted with a Lightning bumper and it looks HORRENDOUS.

I promise you it will look bad- don't do it.

Hes right. THe big 4x4s that run the lightning front do look horrible. Ive rattled the idea of an fx2 valance on my 2wd but i think it would look bad without a drop. well that and i dont have a PTM bumper. I have seen a few bumper covers that look agressive for a lifted 4x4. Look around the net a bit.

Oh and lumadar, you got a pm

no, it looks better on the 4x2 models.

How about just painting that valence you put on in DSG? It would then match your bumper and give you a custom look.

The popular choice of Nitto TG 33s with 18" Helo Max. Pretty common setup, but it looks good and the backspacing on the Helo's are almost right on. Thanks for the kudo's
