driveshaft rust

Anyone with a NBS notice a lot of rust on their driveshaft? I got under the truck today and noticed it

Have you seen the advertisments on this forum for "POR 15" (paint over rust)
I painted mine with two coats two and a half years ago and today it is still coal black. I used the matte. The best out there.

Most steel ones have surface rust when they arrive on dealer lot. If it is not, it probably is an aluminum one.

I painted my Dak's with Rustoleum Black paint by hand... not a spray jobby... I put 3 coats on.

Looks perfect.

driveshaft

Mine has some kind of an enclosure surrounding it that looks rustproof.
It's still shiney after 3 years. I tapped on it and it sounds hollow.
Mine is an 04 lariat Supercab.
