DIY Plug change on 5.4l 3v 2004 FX4 100k miles

Hey guys,

I am doing it today! I got everything finally in last night, and will be taking pics step by step, and doing a short video as well. Here's what I have:

Rotunda tool
FORD recommend anti-seize
Brisk 3v Plugs
Aerokroil
Extensions
Plug wrench
Compressed air
New COPS

Look for a post later, or MUCh later.... depending on how many break!

EDIT TO ADD:

Just so you don't have to search through the entire thread;

After I installed the Brisk's, I had a VERY rough idle. Dropping from 400/500 to 150 and back up again. It was bad.
I pulled the brisk's and put the Autolite HT1's in, along with the factory coilpacks. Everything runs great again.

Pics of first Motocraft sparkplug pull and Brisk's before I installed them:

Youtube movie of some of the first pull:

Pics of Brisk's with about 200 miles on them: (There are a few pics of the Motorcraft's in this one as well. The Brisk's don't have the strap going over the spark plug tip)

If John Wayne had been an auto mechanic...

He would do it the way you're about to... Let us know how much the required tools & parts cost and how it turns out dude!

Let's see, according to my clock you're about an hour-and-a-half into it -- right now you should be thoroughly pi$$ed-off and screaming for a Ford engineer's bleeding and oozing head on a platter......

Just took off the PCM and airbox stuff. Engine is still pretty warm, so I'm just going to prep everything first.

COPS completely off pass side. Boots are in bad shape above head, but otherwise look ok.

OK! Passenger side plugs removed 1/4 turn, soaking in AeroKroil. there was a rock or something in the 3rd plug from front passenger side that wouldn't let the sparkplug tool over it. removed it with needlenose pliers.

Have some good video so far. starting on drivers side. will do the same, then remove completely pass side, and then back to drivers.

Passenger 4 came out perfectly. Lot of noise, but didn't break. Putting Brisk's in now.
