-Tow strap with hooks
-high lift jack
-fire extinguisher
-first aid kit

-Tie downs (forgot to add them I have so many with MX haha)

Tie downs and bunji cords. Always nice to have on hand for that impromptu hauling job.

jumper cables are a must have.

Also a trailer hitch and ball, you'll want those.

I dont know if you get snow in your area, but tires chains.

I'll have to add jumper cables! Good idea I have at least a few different things for the hitch I will throw in there. The tow shackle stays on there all the time. The trailer ***** are on their own receivers so I can just slide them in. I will definitely throw them in the box.

couple rolls of duct tape in a plastic bag! maybe a tire patch kit?

I don't have a tool box but I always keep a pair of leather gloves, knife, multi tool pocket knife, and lock pick set haha

I take a bucket that used to have chlorine tablets in it that has a screw on lid and fill it with rags and paper towels because you never know when those can come in handy. Flashlights, lighters, an inexpensive toolset, and a tarp also come in handy.

Good list going here these are some good things to ask for to go with the box!

The tow strap will be for linear not shock loads. I will only use that in the snow to give people a little help. I would rather use a cheaper tow strap rather than my expensive recovery strap for just the snow. I will probably do something with locking hooks on the end for safety though!

theres a reason the recovery straps are expensive...they are tough! use them! its a lot better then having a hook or chain come flying through your windshield or into your grille.

You need some safety pins, used apple jolly ranchers, popsicle sticks and a couple maxie pads. You never know when you'll need them.

Good suggestion! I have an expensive recovery strap, the only thing I am talking about is having a small strap to pull someone who has 2x4 in the snow. They just need that extra little bit of help to keep moving. If they are stuck at all I would definitely just hook up the recovery strap. The only reason I don't want to use my recovery strap for snow is so that I can keep it clean and reduce wear on that strap. The recovery strap needs to be in pristine condition for when I get the FX4 really stuck!!! I will most likely buy a cheap recovery strap with a D ring on the one end because I already have a D ring on the receiver.

don't forget flares and this time of year a blanket or old sleeping bag if you have the room. Also any old cell phone that has a power cord will work for calling 911.
