I have had my Garmin Nuvi 360 for about 3 months now and have never mounted it anywhere except the window and have never had it fall off. I certainly like how neuler has his mounted though and will probably be attempting to do the same with mine. Of course that's after seeing more of his friction pad.

My c530 has never fallen off my windshield either. I mount it as low as possible under the mirror. When you have 5 vehicles (1 car, 1 truck, 1 suv and 2 motorcycles) you need it to be portable. I adhere to the KISS theory. I never do anything to my vehicles that I can't return to the exact original condition. I can remove everything I have added without leaving any evidence it was ever there.

I never had any problems with mine using the suction cup either. Just have to keep the window clean and once it's on there don't remove it. If you do clean everything again. Now the wife never cleans her truck and she can't keep it stuck to her window at all.

You need to clean the spot where the GPS mounts with rubbing alcohol first then it wont fall off.

Garmin 2610, bean bag or m/c mount, PLUS remote control - very handy. I take it the new ones don't come with remotes?

I don't have any pics of my Garmin c530 mounted up, but I have been playing around with mounting it in a few different places. I had it mounted right above the Edge pod, then I mounted it up close to the headliner on the drivers side, and then I tried with it dead center of the windsheild right above the dash tray. I think that I am going to most likely keep it up near the headliner, but I might try with it next to the rear view mirror also.

Well....my setup sucks compared to Copeland! rollin' with the lapper. But I have the bean bag mount for my Garmin. I just set it in that tray on the dashboard, but take out the rubber insert because the GPS unit will slide around a little bit if I leave it in. I rarely use it so I have never bothered to come up with any type of permanent mount for it.

Hey TX Fx4, where did you get your mount for your GPS? I like your setup!

That mount came with my Garmin nuvi 350. You can either stick it on the windshield or use the adhesive disc to mount it on your dash.
